Rhythms, Reflections and Rituals is a program of recently written music by living composers which explores the varied sounds of interesting colors, driving rhythms, and highlights virtuosic playing. From the soaring melodies and imitation bird calls in Brouwer's "Lonely Lake," to the beautifully haunting tone of the alto flute in Marc Satterwhite's "Imagined Rituals," this program has something for every music lover. Several of the composers will be in attendance. This concert is made possible in part by the Bascom Little Fund.
